Good to know
- Title Case here capitalises the first letter of every word. It does not skip small words such as "of" or "the", so check headings against your style guide.
- Sentence case makes the first letter of each sentence a capital and the rest lowercase. Names and acronyms will also become lowercase, so fix them afterwards.
- The change happens in the same box, so you can switch between styles as often as you like.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between title case and sentence case?
Title case capitalises the main words of a heading. Sentence case only capitalises the first word and proper nouns, like a normal sentence.
Will it work with Urdu or Arabic text?
Those scripts have no upper and lower case, so the converter leaves them unchanged. It works for Latin letters such as English.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser only.
